INSIGA III: Energy communities in industrial areas

The third part of the INSIGA project is already working to provide technological support tools and applications for the optimisation of the design of Energy Communities in industrial areas.

The INSIGA III project, which gives continuity to two previous projects financed by the AEI call, and whose main objective is to develop an integral ICT platform (SIE Energy Communities) with a digital twin for the creation and management of energy communities in the context of industrial areas 4.0 that facilitates the formulation and optimal management of generation, self-consumption, storage, electric vehicles and grid injection, incorporating the management of demand and energy prices.

INSIGA III, with application number AEI-010500-2022b-226, is co-financed by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism (MINCOTUR) through the second call for AEIs in 2022 in the framework of the Next Generation grants and the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.
